Overview

Vertu CUPRA Carlisle is recruiting for a General Sales Manager to join our team. We offer a £50,000 basic salary with an OTE of £70,000 plus company car and company benefits.

You will be responsible for day-to-day operations across three franchises: SEAT, CUPRA, and Peugeot.

As a General Sales Manager you will lead and manage a controlled sales process through a team including Business Managers, Sales Executives and support colleagues through regular coaching, robust management and constant customer interaction with first and second facing activity at its heart. You will serve and support your team to sell new and used vehicles, with add-on products including finance whilst ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times. You will also manage all sales campaigns and promotions that maximise sales while upholding the highest ethical standards.

We are looking for a very talented, experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record of sales and performance within the motor industry. You will clearly demonstrate your ability to generate impressive results by increasing sales performance, profitability and operating efficiency. You must have strong leadership and people management skills as your primary focus is to lead your team to deliver their business objectives. You will demonstrate that you share our company values and possess strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
