General Sales Manager

Location: Canterbury

Salary: £40,000 basic per annum, plus bonus, OTE £60,000

Hours: Full time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Sales Manager for our client's main dealer site in the Canterbury area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a General Sales Manager to join a superb dealer group, representing a strong brand, working in a busy, state-of-the-art site. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in both new and used car sales.

Sales Manager role:

1. Working closely with the senior management team, managing the Sales Executive team to achieve strong monthly sales performance. Driving sales through effective processes and training the team to work professionally.
2. Ensuring the team offers excellent customer service, maximising sales while promoting a strong profit per unit, and working with the finance team to secure the best deals for customers.
3. Controlling used car stock to ensure the right vehicles are available for your market area.
4. Ensuring all online adverts comply with company and manufacturer guidelines.

Sales Manager requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sales Manager within the motor trade.
• Good understanding of both new and used vehicle sales.
• Experience in managing a large, successful sales team is highly desirable.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
