General Production Operative (Disley) - Shifts

• Stockport

Job Description

To provide the mill with general operative support to meet site standards, maintain product consistency, ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and maximize factory output, in compliance with group policies.

To operate the facility by executing all operational tasks daily. This includes logistics, materials handling, small maintenance tasks, and operating specific equipment to the required standards.

Production Operative Duties

• Operate and monitor machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Maintain operating costs through auditing and control against centreline settings.
• Keep accurate records of production output and downtime; work as a team to reach output targets.
• Operate FLT, Clamp truck, Skid-steer, and MEWP (Cherry Picker).
• Undertake routine maintenance and machinery cleaning, including daily FLT checks against the checklist.
• Adhere to quality, health, and safety procedures and regulations.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day issues.
