Job summary

A local garment production company in Swindon is seeking a general production operative to join their team. This hands-on role involves supporting production tasks in a fast-paced environment, including working closely with embroidery operators and handling various garment printing tasks. Candidates should ideally have experience in the print or embroidery industry, although full training will be provided. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with flexibility available for the right individual.

• Weed vinyl for printing.
• Press heat transfers and operate DTG printers.

Job description

We are a small family run garment print and embroidery company based in Swindon manufacturing bespoke garments for retail and corporate workwear wear.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated, hardworking individual who can join our team as a general production operative.

This is a hands-on position which will involve working closely with the production team to set production requirements and deadlines.

The role will require:
Supporting embroidery operators by stripping and steaming garments..
Weeding of vinyl.
Pressing of heat transfers.
Mug printing.
Pre-treating of garments for DTG printing.
Operating DTG printers.
Sorting, folding and packing of garments and orders.

Ideally the candidate will have a proven track record in the print or embroidery industry and/or have experience in a similar production role with the ambition to grow into a supervisory position. Although full training will be given and salary negotiable based on experience.

Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm but can offer other shift hours for the right individual.
