A leading healthcare provider is seeking a part-time General Practitioner to deliver care at HMP Preston. The role includes providing support to patients, particularly those with substance misuse issues. Ideal candidates have strong experience in general practice and must be included on the GMC Register. We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Preston, a Category B men's remand prison based in Preston. HMP Preston houses around 750 patients aged between 18-85 years of age. As part of this role you will be delivering general practice and reception clinics for the new intake of patients. You will be working with a high proportion of substance misuse, mental health and long-term conditions needs, ideal applicants would have previous experience supporting patients with substance misuse withdrawal.
Hours: Wednesday 1pm-9pm, Thursday 1pm-9pm, Saturday 2-6pm
Salary: This position is part-time; you’ll receive an annual salary between £120,000 and £125,000 per annum FTE — depending on experience.
