Job description

Job Title: General Practitioner - Out of Hours, Derby

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for two General Practitioners to join our Primary Care team at HMP Foston Hall, a female closed prison based in Derby. HMP Foston Hall houses around 300 patients aged between 18-75 years old. In this role, you will deliver out-of-hours reception clinics for new patient intakes, prescribing same-day medications, supporting acute illnesses and injuries, and creating detox plans for alcohol and opiates misuse. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing, pharmacy, and substance misuse teams.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 5pm - 9pm; Saturday, 1pm - 4pm. We are looking for 2 GPs to share this role.

Salary

This part-time position offers an annual salary of up to £131,000 FTE, depending on experience.
