Job summary

Meddygfa Taf welcomes a motivated GP to join a supportive and progressive team in Whitland. The role involves 6 to 8 sessions per week with flexible patterns, including potential job sharing, in a training practice linked to GP Training Scheme and university medical schools.

The practice offers a competitive salary package with indemnity contribution, regular mentorship for newly qualified GPs, and excellent multidisciplinary support across nursing, pharmacy and specialist services.

A key member of the team, the GP will manage a caseload, dealing with a wide range of presenting health care needs in a primary care setting. The post holder will work with clinical colleagues in ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered patients. The post holder will also contribute to planning and decision making as part of the practice team; the job description therefore covers clinical and organisation elements.

We are a friendly, forward thinking Medical Practice, comprising of 4 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, 3 GP Registrars and excellent supporting staff including an IP Practice Nurse and Pharmacy Technician. Our current list size is 7800.
