Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services across Blaydon On Tyne. This role offers flexible sessional work across community-focused GP environments, ideal for GPs experienced in managing varied clinical presentations and supporting urgent patient demand.

You will contribute to community services by providing autonomous clinics, managing acute presentations, delivering routine reviews and supporting triage workflows.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP with NHS Performers List status.
• Experience in community, urgent care or primary care services.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous GP clinics within community health and primary care settings.
