Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a General Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care across Baldock. This flexible locum role offers sessional work in community-focused GP environments, suitable for GPs with varied clinical presentations and urgent patient demand.

You will provide autonomous clinics, manage acute presentations, deliver routine reviews, and support triage workflows in line with NHS policies. GMC registration and indemnity are required, with DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous GP clinics within community health and primary care settings

• Supporting urgent care demand through telephone triage
• Prescribing safely in line with clinical policies
• Completing routine clinical actions including results, follow-ups and referrals
• Documenting clear and accurate digital notes
