A leading healthcare provider in Cardiff is looking for a General Practitioner to join their dynamic team. The role involves delivering comprehensive General Medical Services within a supportive practice, structured ideally for part-time work. Candidates must be fully qualified GPs with a strong foundation in primary care for a diverse populace.

To provide a full range of General Medical Services as contained within the National Health Services, Primary Care Act 1997, which will include domiciliary visits as deemed appropriate. The post holder will be expected to support the partners of Brynderwen & Minster Surgery in providing all services outlined in the GMS Core Contract and in the aims and objectives of the Practice.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder is expected to inform the Practice of any previous or new convictions should they occur.
The post holder is expected to support and input into the aims of the practice in areas of clinical governance, good practice, quality outcomes framework, enhanced services, practice audit, referral review and any other improvement plans as determined by the practice. Performance in each area will be monitored and referrals may be re-routed if appropriate.
The post holder is encouraged to utilise and develop any skills for the improvement of services to patients, such as minor operations, child health surveillance, and family planning training etc. if approved by the Health Board. This will be subject to presentation of the appropriate certificates and update of relevant courses.
The post holder is expected to maintain and keep good standards of computerised clinical records at all times. Full involvement in any practice training and ongoing requirements of our status as a paperless practice is expected.

We have a population of circa 19,000 patients with two sites and a varied demographic from deprivation to affluence. Our ethos is to provide the exceptional patient care while also providing a supportive and collaborative environment for our staff.
We are a forward thinking team who work closely to shape the delivery of care, ensuring it remains patient focussed and evidence based. The clinical team is developing, we are looking for an additional GP to join our team. The practice is part of Cardiff East Cluster, a harmonious group of four surgeries that collaborates to deliver projects to benefit our local community.
