A prominent health centre in Warrington seeks an enthusiastic GP for a part-time role of 3.5 sessions per week. This fixed-term position offers competitive remuneration under the BMA model contract, engaging duties in primary care while contributing to a supportive multidisciplinary team. Candidates will ideally hold GMC registration and have experience in chronic disease management and primary care.
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated GP to join our hardworking multidisciplinary team, working 3.5 sessions per week on a two week rotation. Week one 3 sessions, week two 4 sessions. This is a fixed term post until the 31st of March 2026.
This post will be under the BMA model contract with pro rata CPD and annual leave.
We would require the right candidate to cover all aspects of the GP role including a share of duty clinic.
A competitive salary for the right candidate would be offered.
We are a training Practice supporting GP Registrars, 4th year Medical Students and Pre Reg Pharmacists. We are accepting new ways of working to address clinical and workforce issues facing Primary Care.
Our CQC rating is good.
The GP will undertake a variety of duties governed by the GMS contract and objectives of enhanced services including:
We are a large practice located in Warrington serving a population of around 12523 patients. The practice has a friendly, supportive team who work closely. This consists of 6 GP partners, 2 salaried GPs, 3 advanced nurse practitioners, 4 practice nurses, 2 pharmacy technicians, 2 healthcare assistants, 3 Managers and a team of 13 Administrators.
We are part of an active PCN and have good working relationships while sharing good practice with one another.
In accordance with the practice timetable, the successful candidate will undertake a variety of duties, including surgery face to face consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home and in care homes, checking and signing prescriptions and dealing with medication queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion. Actioning a share of blood results and incoming clinical documents electronically. Referring patients for specialist input. Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards including coding for QOF.
