Job summary

Healthii People is seeking a GP to join a long-established Wirral practice. You will work 5 sessions per week (≈21 hours), covering Tue and Thu with a flexible Wed session, including a Duty GP day for visits and same-day care.

You will perform 15-minute appointments, manage a mix of pre-bookable and same-day slots, plus e-consult/phone triage. Training and development opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current GMC and UK GP registration.
• Experience working within General Practice.
• Strong clinical knowledge across acute and chronic conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.

Job description

£10,700 to £12,000 per session, per annum DOE

The role offers 5 sessions per week across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with flexibility around the Wednesday session. One of the working days is a Duty GP day, including practice visits and same-day patient care.

About the Practice

The practice is a long established GP surgery serving approximately 8,600 patients across the Wirral.

The clinical team includes:

• 2 Clinical Partners
• 1 Business Partner
• 1 ANP
• 2 Practice Nurses
• 2 HCAs
• 12 Admin staff

The practice is CQC rated Good across all areas, has high QOF achievement and is actively engaged with its local Neighbourhood PCN.

It is also a training practice, supporting doctors from Foundation Year 2 through to ST3.

About You

The practice is looking for a GP with:

• Current GMC and UK GP registration
• Experience working within General Practice

• Good understanding of EMIS, Docman and PATCHS
• Full clean driving licence
• Access to a vehicle for home visits
