Overview
As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include delivering high quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery, working closely with the clinical leads and local practice team to support the delivery of the surgery's operational plan.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery, and support the delivery of the surgery's operational plan in collaboration with clinical leads and the local practice team.
- Maintain quality within the practice, participate in clinical governance, and contribute to the improvement of health outcomes through audit, the Quality and Outcomes Framework, and other quality standards including CQC standards.
- Provide clinical care as described in the job plan and in line with the total triage model, including consultation sessions (in person and by video), telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews and prescription signing, and other clinical administration, safeguarding lead, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings, and on-call (excluding out of hours).
- Adhere to the highest personal and professional standards as set out by the GMC and prioritise individual patient care.
- Support the development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead, including list growth, patient satisfaction levels, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.
Qualifications
- An experienced doctor with GP accreditation – MRCGP examination or equivalent experience.
- Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient-focused services.
- Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and the use of appropriate coding.
- Ideally have a working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.
