Job summary

Mostyn House Medical Practice in Llandudno is seeking a salaried GP (with a view to partnership) to join us for 4-6 sessions per week from December 2026 onwards.

We offer 15‑minute appointments, excellent support from attached staff, and a strong training ethos within the Conwy West Cluster. Out-of-hours are covered by NHS 111 with no out-of-hours responsibility for you.

Qualifications

• Experience in general practice and working in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Eligibility for minor surgery, obstetrics, family planning accreditation.
• Vocational GP training.

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical services including consultations and home visits with accurate records.
• Adhere to GMS/Personal Medical Services and related educational contracts.
• Follow GMC Principles of Good Medical Practice.

We are looking for a salaried GP (with a view to partnership) to join us for 4-6 sessions week from the beginning of December 2026 onwards.

• List size 10,800
• Full complement of GPs (7 Partners), an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, an Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, 4 Nurses, HCA and phlebotomists.
• Out of hours covered by NHS 111 ( no out of hours responsibility)
• Generous annual leave package plus 1 weeks study leave
• 15 minute appointments

Main duties of the job

• Provide general medical services for the practice population to a high standard, including day-to-day activities such as surgery consultations, telephone consultations and home visits and appropriate administration to ensure accurate records, patient continuity and quality of care.
• Comply with the requirements of the practices General Medical Services/Personal Medical Services GMS contract, Enhanced Services contracts, educational/training delivery contracts and private contracts.
• Adhere to the GMC's Principles of Good Medical Practice.

Mostyn House Medical Practice is conveniently located in the commercial centre of Llandudno close to shopping precincts and the High Street.
Llandudno is a popular scenic seaside resort feted for its pier, its beach and its striking promenade. It is close to the historical town of Conwy and to the picturesque Snowdonia National Park. It has excellent transport links and is by car less than 1 hour from Chester and just over 1 hour from Liverpool. We are privileged to live and work in such a beautiful part of the country.
We are a friendly collaborative team of 7 GP's, 4 practice nurses, 1 advanced nurse practitioner, 1 advanced paramedic practitioner, 1 healthcare assistant, phlebotomists and an excellent supportive admin team who pull together to deliver General Medical Services to our 9800 patients. We are actively involved in the Conwy West Collaborative.
