SHR Group is seeking a compassionate General Practitioner for adhoc locum cover across the year in the United Kingdom. Sessions range from 1 to 10 per week, with 12 patients per session and 15-minute appointments.

You will self-generate admin and serve as first contact for routine and urgent care. You will work to provide inclusive care, build relationships with diverse communities, and stay informed on medical advances.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in General Practice, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
  • Licensed to practice as a General Practitioner.
  • Proven clinical experience in a general practice setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse identities and implement inclusive care practices.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions across diverse patient populations.
  • Conduct regular health check-ups and preventive care education.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced General Practitioner (GP) committed to providing high-quality and inclusive healthcare to diverse communities. As a GP, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, addressing their routine and emergency medical needs. Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and consultations, in both routine and urgent care contexts.

  • Conduct thorough patient examinations to gather health histories and address medical concerns.

  • Work closely with nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to optimize patient care.
  • Manage and order diagnostic tests such as blood work, X-rays, or other investigations.
  • Provide appropriate follow-up care, including reviewing test results and updating patients on their conditions.
  • Educate patients and their families on medical procedures, treatments, and long-term healthcare goals.
