Bangor University is seeking a part-time 50% FTE T&S Lecturer in Health Sciences (General Practice Nursing) to lead on post-registration education and supervise postgraduate students. The role focuses on delivering healthcare education, leading General Practice Nursing modules, and developing blended and in-person teaching materials.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate Degree (MSc) in a relevant subject, or nearing completion.
• Professional registration (NMC)
• A sound knowledge of contemporary policy and practice in health and care.
• Evidence of teaching in clinical or academic settings.
• Capability to develop and manage projects, and to disseminate results through presentation at relevant conferences.
• PGCertTHE teaching qualification or equivalent.
• PhD, or near to completion

Responsabilités

• Lead on our General Practice Nursing portfolio for post-registration health care practitioners, including supervision of students as they complete formative and summative assessments.
• Develop ways of teaching to include blended and in person approaches, teaching materials and assessment.
• Lead and further develop modules and to support delivery.
• Teach and supervise on appropriate modules throughout programmes at post graduate levels.
• Provide the highest quality pastoral and academic support to postgraduate students.
• Undertake administrative duties as designated by the Head of School to engage in School citizenship and personal development.
