Locum Ready is seeking an experienced General Practice Nurse for flexible regional primary care clinic sessions across Staines. You will support resident clinical teams with essential nursing duties and chronic disease activity, while delivering autonomous ward-based care in GP settings.

The role offers ad-hoc or ongoing sessions with multiple clinics, including wound care and immunisation duties. A DBS check is required, and familiarity with EMIS Web or SystmOne is preferred.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered Nurse with primary care experience.
• Immunisation and cytology training desirable.
• Strong treatment room competency.
• Confident working independently within GP settings.
• Familiarity with EMIS Web or SystmOne.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatment room procedures including wound care and dressings.
• Support chronic disease reviews in line with local care plans.
• Administer adult and childhood immunisations (if trained).
• Perform smear tests where cytology-trained.
• Conduct NHS Health Checks and routine assessments.
• Maintain accurate digital clinical notes.
• Support general nursing duties as required by the clinic.

Key Responsibilities
