General Practice Nurse Band 5 Needed ASAP in the MOD (Ministry of Defence)

Sirona Medical Limited is seeking a Band 5 General Practice Nurse for immediate start in the MOD (Ministry of Defence). This is an excellent opportunity to work within the MOD on ongoing contracts across various UK sites, including Staffordshire, with a 37-hour workweek.

Essential Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (Level 1) with the NMC, valid PIN, and no restrictions of practice
  • Current personal medical indemnity insurance
  • At least one year’s post-registration experience in a Band 5 or higher role within a Primary Healthcare setting (within the last three years)
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Anaphylaxis, AED, Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), and Safeguarding training (Children, Young People, Vulnerable Adults)
  • Certificates of training/qualification or proof of clinical competency in Immunisation and Vaccination (including children if applicable), Venepuncture
About the Role:
  • Flexible, proactive, and adaptable approach
  • Work within well-equipped medical, dental, or rehabilitation centres as part of the Defence Medical Services team
  • Deliver professional care to military personnel and their families, some locations may require working on Army, Royal Navy, or Royal Air Force bases

All placements are subject to compliance requirements and a current DBS check.
