A successful and growing firm of chartered accountants based in Plymouth is searching for a General Practice Manager to join their team as a key addition. The opportunity provides career progression, managing a wide ranging client portfolio overseeing a mouldable mix of accounts, audit, tax and advisory services, building client relationships as well as developing and supporting the wider team and working closely with partners.

Based in Plymouth this leading chartered accountancy firm has experienced significant growth. The firm services wide ranging clients, from small sole traders, partnerships through to clients up to and in excess of the audit threshold in turnover on larger limited company SMEs and OMBs and the firm also has a decent number of larger clients/corporate and groups with audit requirements. Description

Joining as General Practice Manager based in their Plymouth offices you will manage the delivery of wide ranging services to a varied client portfolio. Clients will be mouldable to a decent degree around the background and motivations of the right addition. So, this could be an entirely accounts, tax focused client base only for instance, or your portfolio could encompass a proportion of the firms audit clients should the right addition bring the skills and interest on this side equally. You will deliver wider advisory focused delivery on project work working with clients right across the range in turnover size and sector. Alongside this you will be supported by a wider team and play a key role in developing, supporting, mentoring and managing this team. You will carve an influential role in this successful, growing firm of independent accountants with a clear route to progress on offer as well for those with ambitions to develop beyond a managerial position in the medium term and longer term.

Profile

For this General Practice Manager role you will be any of ACA/ACCA/CTA/AAT etc qualified, or equivalent with a career background within accountancy practice across any of: accounts/tax/audit etc and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients. You will have developed your career to the Managerial levels and be looking to take your career to the next level, within a leading firm and role where you can see a genuine clear progression and development path on offer, offering a long term career fit and environment where you can develop and achieve your career goals.

Job Offer

Circa £50,000 - £60,000 + dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
