Longrove Surgery are looking for a General Practice Assistant (GPA) to join the team. The applicant must have experience in working with the NHS, have good computer skills and offer excellent customer service. A candidate who has undertaken the General Practice Assistant course for Primary Care is preferable, however this is not essential.
Our GPAs are key contributors in supporting the smooth running of the practice by providing internal administrative support necessary for the practice team to meet the needs of and caring for our patients. This role provides an accessible, safe and effective line of communication for patients. The purpose of this supporting role is to ensure that our patients receive an all-around excellent experience.
We are a friendly, supportive training practice in North London. We currently have 8 salaried GPs, 5 GP Partners and a Management Partner. We also have nurses, HCAs and a pharmacist in our clinical team.
We are a training practice and have approximately 17,500 patients.
We are located in a Primary Care Health Centre and are looking to expand our administration team. We have a large admin team to assist the clinicians which includes GP Assistants, Prescription Clerks and Medical Secretaries.
Our practice is part of a Primary Care Network and actively involved in a range of schemes and services to provide high quality to the local population.
