Job summary

This is a new exciting role, working for the East Kennet PCN based at Ramsbury & Wanborough Surgery.

As this is a new role, it will continue to evolve and other duties and responsibilities are likely to be added over time.

Main duties of the job

This relatively new role to the NHS combines administrative duties and hands on clinical work. The role will support the GPs in the smooth running of clinics by performing the more routine administration (including clerical support) and clinical tasks (such as vaccinations and promoting a healthy lifestyle). • Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, and other associated healthcare agencies.
  • Review patients needs and help them access the services and support they require.
