Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is looking for caring porters to support patient care by moving patients, equipment, and notes around our hospital. The role is physically demanding but rewarding and offers training in other areas.

We operate 24 hours a day with a range of shifts and rotating patterns. You will be the friendly face of the portering team, helping staff and patients while upholding high service standards.

As a porter you will be responsible for moving patients, medical equipment, medical notes and many other things around our hospital. Whilst this can be a physically demanding role it is also an incredibly rewarding one where staff have the chance to make a real difference to patient experience. With a wide range of tasks that you may be sent on each day will feel different with different accomplishments!

We work with our staff to ensure that they are the best that they can be! We operate 24 hours a day and have a range of shifts and rotating shift patterns available.
