Job description

We are recruiting for reliable General Operatives to join our client, a busy manufacturing company specialising in premade concrete walls and products.

The ideal candidate will work effectively within their production team to ensure high-quality concrete products are manufactured to company standards.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 6:00-18:00, however the company is flexible and 8 hour shifts are also available.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of premade concrete walls and related products
• Install reinforced steel within casts before concrete pouring
• Add, amend, and alter rebar sizes as required by specifications
• Paint concrete products to company standards when required
• Load and unload materials
• Assist within other areas of the production facility as needed
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation
• Support other production team members as needed

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or construction experience preferred
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow health and safety protocols
• Reliable transportation and good attendance record
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, as work areas may be in open environments
