Job summary

Aspired Talent Ltd. is recruiting for an experienced Paint Spraying Operative to join a specialist manufacturer of luxury wooden drawers and doorsets in Northampton.

The role requires previous spray painting experience on wood/furniture, a keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver premium finishes. You will work a late shift pattern in a busy manufacturing environment, with a view to a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Previous professional painting or paint-spraying experience is essential.
• Experience spraying wood, furniture, doors, joinery or similar products is desirable.
• Outstanding attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Ability to achieve a smooth, consistent and high-end finish.
• Able to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Reliable and able to work the full late-shift pattern.
• Comfortable working within a busy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Spray-paint luxury wooden drawers, doorsets and associated components.
• Prepare wooden surfaces through sanding, cleaning, masking and priming.
• Mix and apply paints, primers, lacquers and specialist finishes.
• Set up and adjust spraying equipment to achieve the correct coverage and finish.
• Inspect completed products for colour consistency, coverage and surface imperfections.
• Identify and correct defects such as runs, marks, uneven coatings or contamination.
• Handle finished products carefully to prevent damage.
• Complete work in line with customer specifications and production schedules.
• Clean and maintain spray equipment and the working area.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.

Location: Northampton, NN4

Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm10:30pm

Contracted Hours: 35 hours per week
