Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Hours: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

Pertemps Recruitment are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join our client’s busy engineering workshop based in Kilsyth. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, maintaining equipment, and keeping a clean, organised workspace.

You’ll be working as part of a small, friendly team supporting day-to-day workshop operations and ensuring a safe, efficient environment.

Key Duties
  • General cleaning and tidying of the engineering workshop
  • Hand-painting and maintaining tools, plant, and equipment
  • Assisting with the organisation of materials and storage areas
  • Supporting maintenance and basic workshop tasks as required
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
  • Valid CSCS card (essential)
  • Clean driving licence (essential)
  • Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
  • A reliable and proactive attitude
  • Previous experience in a workshop, construction, or engineering environment (preferred but not essential)
