Balfour Beatty has an opportunity for a General Operative to join our UKCS Living Places business in East Sussex.
In this role, you will support the delivery of highways maintenance activities across the local network, helping to keep communities moving safely and efficiently. You will carry out a broad range of operational tasks to a high standard, working safely, responsibly and at a commercial pace.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with highways maintenance experience who takes pride in delivering work right first time, every time.
We are looking for someone with good experience in highways maintenance who is confident working in a safety-critical, operational environment.
You will be safety-focused, reliable and willing to work as part of a team. You will take responsibility for the quality of your work, follow instructions carefully and ask for support when needed.
