Job description

Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced General Office Cleaner to join our B2B Cleaning Team based in Stockton-on-Tees, TS18. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a large chemical company building, including offices and meeting rooms.

Your responsibilities will include general office cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management to ensure a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence are essential.

This is a temporary to permanent, part-time role of 25 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 11 am to 4 pm, with an immediate start. During the temporary contract, pay will be weekly; once permanent, pay will be monthly.

The Role – General Office Cleaner

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing cleaning tasks such as damp mopping, surface washing, sweeping, vacuuming, and sanitizing touchpoints.
  • Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, staff kitchens, and dining areas.
  • Cleaning toilet facilities, including hand basins, and replenishing toilet paper, hand soap, and towels.
  • Sanitizing touchpoints like door handles and push plates.
  • Managing waste collection, transportation, and storage for internal and external areas.

Skills & Requirements

  • Use cleaning materials and equipment in accordance with health and safety and COSHH regulations.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience working under tight schedules.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness.
