Job summary

A specialist recruitment agency is seeking a General Manufacturing Operative located in Diss. Responsibilities include stocking materials, preparing manufacturing orders, and conducting inventory. General Manufacturing Operative

Located in Diss, Norfolk (Own transport essential unless locally based)

On a fulltime Temp to Perm basis

£12.48hr per hour

Monday to Thursday 07.30 to 16.15 & Friday 07.30 to 13.30, 39 hours per week.

General Manufacturing Operative will be required to assist in the stocking of materials; ensuring they are put away in their correct location, and correctly. Prepare manufacturing orders for production i.e. issue material, prep materials, and issue kit boxes; where applicable.

Carry out perpetual inventory checks, as per the schedule, keep the material stores area clean and tidy.
General Manufacturing Operative will have previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment. Proven manual handling ability, this role will involve heavy lifting up to 25kgs.

Good Interpersonal skills for communicating with other production staff. Ability to safely use basic workshop equipment, e.g. saw, linisher, pillar drill.
