Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company that has recently added a new venue to its portfolio. We are looking for a driven and dynamic General Manager to lead this newly refurbished site to success after its reopening in July.

About the General Manager Role:

You will manage a recently refurbished venue within a well-established hospitality group, taking a hands-on approach to all aspects of the business. Your responsibilities include managing a large team, overseeing daily operations, and working closely with the sales and marketing team to increase business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of all areas of the business and drive its success.
  • Ensure high standards of service to create memorable customer experiences.
  • Train, mentor, and develop management staff and team members, fostering growth and loyalty.
  • Oversee financial management and budgeting activities to optimize operations.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven leadership experience with a hands-on management style.
  • Track record of increasing takings and revenue.
  • Knowledge of the pub industry, including beers and line management.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a General Manager.
  • A personable and industry-enthusiastic leader who can motivate and inspire a team.
