Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, Alpine Energy offers flexibility to enable the General Manager People & Capability to be located in Christchurch and be onsite 3 days a week in Timaru. Accommodation is negotiable if required.
The General Manager People and Capability is responsible for leading the successful delivery of Alpine Energy Limited (AEL) People Strategy – Accelerate, aligning it with the overall AEL strategy and objectives.
To succeed in this role, you will have a relevant HR qualification, be highly disciplined, and thrive working in a structured and regulated organisation.
You should be unafraid of change and challenge, with a positive, collaborative, and adaptable approach—truly putting people at the centre of every decision. A continuous improvement mindset and passion for delivering outcomes through driving performance are essential. You will be action-oriented with a high degree of ownership.
