Job summary

Smoky Boys BBQ & Grill Haus is opening in Leicester city centre. Aki Hospitality Ltd, a Smoky Boys franchise partner, seeks a hands-on General Manager to recruit and lead the front-of-house team, drive daily operations, and hit targets.

You will oversee dine-in, takeaway and delivery, ensuring food safety and brand standards while collaborating with the Head Chef and operations team. Applicants should have UK work rights and be ready to start soon.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years as a General Manager or Restaurant Manager in a busy restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Lead the opening: recruit, train and build the front-of-house team.
• Run day-to-day operations across dine-in, takeaway and delivery.
• Hit sales, labour and profit targets; manage rotas, stock, suppliers and cash.
• Keep food safety, health and safety and brand standards spot on, so the restaurant is always inspection-ready.
• Work hand-in-hand with the Head Chef so kitchen and floor run as one team.
• Look after every guest, handle feedback and build strong reviews.
• Grow the restaurant locally through delivery apps, social media and the Highcross community.
• Report weekly performance to the directors.
