We are seeking a high-performing and visionary General Manager to oversee Novotel London Waterloo

A unique opportunity has arisen for a General Manager. The hotel is within walking distance of the iconic London attractions: the Thames River, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. The hotel also has 6 meeting rooms, a restaurant, a bar and a gym. Keys 187.

If you are a passionate, commercial and forward-thinking individual, with a minimum of 5 years of proven hotel General Manager experience in a Midscale hotel, then we may have a role for you !

Job Description

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING:

  • You will be accountable for delivering strong operational performance, leading high-performing team, and driving commercial outcomes.
  • You will actively seek new business and ways of optimising profit.
  • You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including hotel ownership Portfolio Manager, and providing strategic leadership across the property.
  • Be instrumental in driving changes and improvements in performance and implementing strategies in line with business objectives.
  • Create an effectively collaborative and inclusive environment where all colleagues are encouraged to provide input.

Qualifications

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE INCLUDE:

It is essential you have:

  • Previous General Manager experience (5 years) in Midscale or similar hotels. GM will have great people skills, leading an established team in London’s vibrant city centre.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen, with a proven track record in revenue management and cost leadership.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute professional with experience of owner relations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work closely with ownership portfolio.
