Responsibilities include:

• Organising and supervising the unit according to standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland, contract specifications, and statutory regulations.
• Managing the overall efficient operation of the unit, providing quality service.
• Overseeing food preparation, cooking, and service to standards.
• Ensuring the efficient use of resources, including stock, team members, and assets.

Who you are:

• Providing guidance and strategic management of the business through your team.
• Previous contract catering experience.
• Effective communication, motivation, and guidance of your management team and staff.
• Responsibility for food and health & safety procedures.
• Regular communication with the client.
• Implementing action plans based on customer satisfaction surveys.
• Promoting the unit and representing Compass Group.
• Managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensuring delivery of client hospitality standards and seeking feedback.
• Identifying opportunities for service improvement.
• Bringing innovation and flair.
• Operating within budget, monitoring trends, and correcting deviations.
• Delivering customer requirements in line with expectations.
