lead from pre-opening through to full launch and beyond.

The Role:

As General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind one
of London’s most exciting new dining rooms. From assembling a best-in-class
team to refining every service detail, you’ll help define a new standard in
Mayfair hospitality.

You will work closely with senior leadership, ensuring an
exceptional opening and overseeing day-to-day operations with style, precision,
and warmth.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Opening & Launch

  • Lead
    all aspects of pre-opening, including recruitment, training, system
    implementation, and setup.
  • Collaborate
    with the Executive Team to shape the restaurant’s culture, service style,
    and guest journey.
  • Build
    a motivated, high-performing team that reflects the venue’s premium ethos.
  • Oversee
    logistics, supplier partnerships, and procurement to ensure a seamless
    opening.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage
    all aspects of daily operations, delivering smooth, elegant service at
    every touchpoint.
  • Drive
    sales, profitability, and operational efficiency, while maintaining cost
    controls.
  • Uphold
    uncompromising service standards through ongoing coaching, training, and
    performance management.
  • Ensure
    full compliance with health & safety, licensing, and operational
    procedures.

Guest Experience & Brand Ambassadorship

  • Create
    a welcoming, polished environment where every guest feels truly valued.
  • Build
    and maintain relationships with VIPs, high-profile guests, and key
    industry figures.
  • Collaborate
    with marketing, PR, and events teams to deliver activations and brand
    moments.
  • Represent
    the restaurant with charisma and confidence — both internally and
    externally.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A
    proven track record as a General Manager or senior operator in a luxury,
    high-volume restaurant.
  • Pre-opening
    experience is highly desirable.
  • A
    refined understanding of premium hospitality and guest psychology.
  • Strong
    commercial acumen with a background in budgeting, forecasting, and cost
    control.
  • An
    inspiring, hands-on leader with the ability to build and nurture
    high-performance teams.
  • Familiarity
    with advanced reservations and service platforms.
  • A
    warm, articulate communicator and natural host with attention to every
    detail.
