Principle Duties and Responsibilities

1. Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
2. Meet or exceed company objectives in all measurable areas of the business.
3. Assess each associate’s sales performance regularly and provide feedback on strengths and opportunities, aligning with company goals.
4. Adhere to visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
5. Maintain strong product knowledge to assist in selling, merchandising, and feedback.
6. Ensure all associates maintain a professional appearance consistent with the company dress code.

Control Expenses

1. Protect company assets within NBA Store retail policies.
2. Prepare store schedules ensuring proper coverage, within wage control guidelines.
3. Manage inventory processes including receiving, transferring, pricing, and stock counts.
4. Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping in compliance with policies and laws.
5. Open and close the store as required, following operational procedures.

Additional Principles Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow-up.
2. Recruit, develop, and train store personnel to meet operational objectives and adhere to policies.
3. Administer disciplinary actions and conduct employment terminations with appropriate approvals.
4. Ensure compliance with all company policies, including inventory and property security.
5. Perform work of subordinates as needed.
6. Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

1. Minimum two years of retail management experience at a flagship or area manager level.
2. Proven ability to generate sales results and minimize loss.
3. Strong leadership skills with capacity for training and assessment.
4. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
5. Computer literacy and familiarity with relevant software.
6. Physical ability to lift up to 20kg, climb ladders, and work with hands overhead.
7. Standing for up to 100% of the work time.
8. Willingness to travel overnight for training and meetings.
9. Availability to work every day, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
10. Eligibility to work in the UK.
