Job Description:

We are seeking a General Manager to oversee a busy Marina and Waterside complex in Kingston-Upon-Hull. Our client is a growing nationwide leisure business, expanding through acquisitions and redevelopments, making this an exciting opportunity.

The role offers a salary of up to £35,000 for a 37.5-hour week, with a 30% bonus potential (quarterly and annual), 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), life assurance, and discounts on moorings, gyms, and more. The company invests in your professional development.

The Role:
  • Coach, support, and inspire your operational team to excel daily.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to leisure customers and residents, building meaningful relationships.
  • Ensure facilities and amenities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Typically work 9-5 Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
The Person:
  • Genuine, warm personality with a passion for customer service and hospitality.
  • Hands-on leadership style with an ownership mentality.
  • Experience as a Centre Manager, General Manager, Club Manager, Community Manager, Facilities Manager, or Operations Manager, ready to step up.
  • Experience managing in leisure, serviced property, retail, or hospitality sectors.
  • Business acumen, including reading and managing P&L and budgets.
  • Interest in boats or waterside activities is a plus.
