Industry-Leading Fitness Operator

We are recruiting for a fitness management role in West Bromwich with the nation's largest chain, which has gyms across the UK. This is a hands-on management position within the fitness industry, covering various responsibilities that can be discussed in detail with our fitness recruitment team. The key responsibilities include:

1. People Management – Lead, inspire, and manage an Assistant Manager and a team of Personal Trainers.
2. Brand & Operations Management – Ensure the club meets standards and energizes its members, maintaining the brand's reputation.
3. Product – Manage the fitness space passionately, with industry knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for fitness.
4. Commercial – Promote the club locally through fitness testing, events, and community engagement to attract new memberships and drive additional revenue streams like personal training and secondary spend.

Ideal candidates will be excited by these requirements and typically have:

• A management background in the fitness industry, such as General Manager, Club Manager, Fitness Manager, Deputy/Assistant Manager, or Sales Manager roles.
• For candidates outside the industry, exceptional transferrable skills and experience are necessary. Being qualified as a Personal Trainer (Level 3 preferred, Level 2 acceptable) is advantageous.
• Energy, personality, and ambition are vital, alongside skillset, as personality and character are highly valued.

This role offers significant development opportunities, with many progressing to larger general manager or cluster manager positions across the country.
