Get Golfing is seeking an exceptional General Manager for The Arkley 9, a vibrant golf venue near London. You will lead commercial growth, oversee daily operations across the course and Spike Bar, and inspire a team to deliver outstanding service for members, societies, and events.

We value strong leadership, sharp commercial acumen, and the ability to manage a busy, event-led operation while maintaining exceptional playing conditions and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in golf, hospitality, leisure, or customer-focused settings.
• Strong commercial acumen with track record of revenue growth and operational optimisation.
• Excellent people leadership with ability to build cohesive teams and positive culture.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Leadership: drive revenue growth across green fees, memberships, hospitality, and events; identify new opportunities in celebrations market; manage budgeting and financial control.
• Operational Excellence: oversee daily operations of course, Spike Bar, clubhouse, and events spaces; maintain playing conditions; ensure health, safety and compliance.
• People & Culture: lead and develop a high-performing team; foster a positive, supportive working environment aligned to Get Golfing’s hospitality culture.
• Customer & Community Engagement: build relationships with members, societies, partners, and event clients; position The Arkley 9 for short-format golf and high-quality celebrations.
