About The Candidate

The successful candidate will have a third level degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience in the GB energy sector, ideally in a consulting environment part of which in a team/business leadership role.

About The Role

  • Develop and oversee business strategy and plans ensuring alignment with short term and long term objectives.
  • Develop and lead a high performance team in GB, while benefitting from the existing capabilities in Ireland
  • Manage financial and nonfinancial performance of the business in line with operational KPIs.
  • Build and maintain industry and client relationships
  • Present at industry conferences/workshops
  • Undertake consulting work in area of expertise
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company
  • Support business development and knowledge sharing across the group

Desirable Skills

  • Proven experience in consulting managerial position, ideally in the energy / planning sector(s)
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
  • Strong understanding of finance and performance management principles
  • Familiarity with inter disciplinary business functions such as marketing, HR, finance, legal
  • An entrepreneurial mind set with outstanding organisational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • Full clean driving licence and access to own transport

Employment Basis

Salary commensurate with experience, expenses, defined contribution company pension, permanent with 6 month probationary period.
