HOW CAN YOU HELP US?

In a nutshell: Are you interested in leading and managing two units (Work Place Drug Testing and Legal Testing Services) within our Forensics Cluster? Can you help grow our cluster into the recognized market leader whilst driving commercial and operational excellence? Do you have a scientific background and experience within the Testing, Inspection and Certification sector or laboratories? Do you have experience managing significant revenue and reading profit and loss statements? Are you based in the United Kingdom? If yes, then this role might be for you!

What team will I be part of? You will join the Forensics cluster team based in Tamworth, UK, reporting to the Managing Director of the Forensics Unit.

Eurofins Forensic Services laboratories are among the most advanced analytical facilities in Europe, offering comprehensive forensic testing solutions to police, legal, and criminal justice organizations across the UK and Europe.

As a General Manager, you will:

• Lead the Civil Law Cluster including Work Place Drug Testing (WDT) and Legal Testing Services (LTS) in the UK.
• Grow the cluster into a market leader while ensuring commercial and operational excellence, including managing subcontractors.
• Oversee all non-lab activities with a focus on customer service, process efficiency, securing top-tier customers, and outsourcing wet lab testing.
• Coordinate with Eurofins colleagues to ensure wet laboratory testing aligns with customer needs and maintains accreditation.
• Develop cross-selling opportunities with other Eurofins laboratories in Europe.
• Lead the development and implementation of digital platforms.
• Motivate, develop, and retain talented managers and department heads.
• Enhance the technical and scientific capabilities of the business units through new techniques and processes.

Qualifications
