Electric Star Pubs is looking for a music-loving General Manager to drive our flagship venue in Bethnal Green.
Rob Star - founder of Electric Star pubs - opened the venue 10 years ago quickly establishing the venue as the go-to place in Bethnal Green for great food, drink, and entertainment.
Fast forward a decade and Electric Star Pubs have since gone from strength to strength, expanding to 5 pubs and a street food market in Shoreditch.
We pride ourselves on the Star of Bethnal Green being the original late night party on the high street. We are also home to Smokey Tails, Seth Troxler's smoked food pop-up, which hosts a renowned Disco bottomless brunch each Saturday and a busy Sunday roast session.
What we are looking for:
- experience at AM level or above within the bar/ pub industry.
- Someone who will embrace the heart and culture of our company with excellent customer service skills.
- A natural leader to manage our lively week's schedule.
- experience in promoting and running live music/DJ events is not essential but preferred.
- experience in motivating and managing a team.
Knowledge of the local area is a bonus
GM responsibilities:
- Delivering excellent customer service, food, and drinks to our customers.
- Leading from the front.
- Training, developing and motivating all team members.
- Increasing footfall and building a regular client base.
- Creating and running lively events, to increase sales and develop business.
