Our General Managers work closely with the operations team to manage “their” business.
We ask that you lead and inspire your team from the front, finding innovative ways to delight your guests. Ensure every guest receives the highest quality hospitality, with food and drinks that are fresh and of the finest quality Effra offers.
You will collaborate with your management team, including the head chef, to pair the best food with drinks and create an inviting atmosphere that energizes every shift.
You will be fully responsible for the pub's P&L, focusing on converting sales into profit. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure a memorable guest journey from start to finish.
You will be at the forefront of training and developing your team, nurturing future stars, and advancing your business. We believe in building a strong bench with a succession plan to reduce recruitment needs and develop our people into future Portobello General Managers.
