Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our flagship catering operation at a prestigious client site near Heathrow Airport. This multifaceted location includes a vibrant restaurant, two barista-led cafés, as well as an events and hospitality service.

You’ll oversee a team of 20+, delivering excellence Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 17:00.

Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:

• Lead the catering operation to meet and exceed financial targets

• Inspire and manage the performance of your team, conducting regular appraisals and identifying development opportunities

• Hold frequent team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates from the company and client

• Ensure financial systems are accurate and efficient

• Collaborate with the Operations Manager on budget preparation and performance

• Continuously develop and enhance the catering and hospitality offering in line with client needs and expectations

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• A passion for leading and developing high-performing teams

• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to maximise revenue

• Excellent communication, delegation, and influencing skills

• Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive under pressure

• Confident in managing a complex, fast-paced operation

• A natural leader who delivers exceptional customer experiences and sets high standards

• Financially astute with experience in budget creation, forecasting, and performance analysis

• Eligible to obtain an airside ID, requiring (5-year referencing, DBS check, and GSAT, training will be provided)
