The GM Commercial Opal Fibre Packaging Australia is responsible for providing finance leadership, commercial partnership insights and business performance reporting. A key focus for this role will be delivering a competitive advantage, as well as business growth, in alignment with the annual business plans, profit targets and strategic objectives.

In this role you will manage 8 direct reports and a broader team of 21 commercial and finance staff. Based in Scoresby, VIC, this role will contribute to the success of Opal by :

• Providing strategic commercial support and direction to the Opal Fibre Packaging team including the development and execution of business objectives.
• Establishing key performance indicators and qualitative and quantitative metrics to capture, report and evaluate business performance.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing the commercial team, including providing career development planning and opportunities.
• Being an active member of the Opal OFP Management Team contributing to setting and reporting on the business strategies and goals.

• CPA or CA Qualified.

• Proven ability to develop a strategy and paint a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action.
• Proven ability to prioritise from a range of competing work demands to enable key strategic objectives to be met.
• Well-developed relationship building skills, engaging and influencing C-level executives.
• Exceptional analytical skills and creative thinking with the ability to drive innovation.
• Experience with implementation, optimisation, and change projects.
• Experience with SAP and TM1.
