Job summary

Buzz Bingo is seeking a General Manager to oversee operations across multiple clubs in the East Midlands. The bench role requires full flexibility to work across locations, with a 44-hour week over seven days and earnings up to £50,000 depending on experience.

You will lead teams, implement brand standards locally, and drive customer service excellence while delivering EBITDA and operating profit targets across sites.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering high levels of customer service and profit delivery in leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Business awareness and understanding of commercial drivers.
• Strong focus on customer service standards and attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to managing, motivating and influencing teams.
• Ability to communicate strategy and drive performance across locations.

Responsibilities

• Hold performance and financial reviews with the management team to improve KPI performance.
• Implement brand strategy locally and ensure consistency with Buzz Bingo values.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels across areas to maximise service levels.
• Develop and execute the club's local strategic plan.
• Explain the company strategy clearly to the team and provide regular feedback.
• Recruit and retain a team delivering outstanding service and standards.
• Drive a culture of exceptional customer service and exceed customer needs.
• Respond to customer feedback and act on it promptly.
• Maintain a visible presence in all club areas during peak times.
• Ensure licensing, health & safety and operating standards compliance.

We have an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to join us here at Buzz Bingo in the East Midlands area. This is a bench role, meaning you ll be working flexibly across multiple clubs in the area, supporting different locations as required. This role is working full time 44 hours over 7 days a week and you must be fully flexible to work during all opening hours, paying up to £50,000 depending on experience.

The Role You’ll Play

As General Manager you will have overall responsibility and accountability for achieving the Club EBITDA and Operating Profit Budget, and all financial targets. You will implement a centrally generated brand strategy flawlessly at a local level and ensure a consistent delivery of the Buzz Bingo Brand Values at each stage of the customer journey, whilst leading and inspiring your team to create a culture of exceptional customer service.

Your Responsibilities as Part of Our Team

• Hold performance and financial reviews with the management team and evaluate actions to maintain and improve KPI performance
• Implement centrally generated brand strategy flawlessly at a local level
• Ensure adequate levels of staff are deployed in each area to maximise customer service throughout the day
• Formulate the Club s local strategic plan
• Effectively communicate the Club and company strategy to the team
• Provide clarity of performance expectations through regular feedback and performance reviews for the team
• Recruit and retain a team that deliver outstanding customer service and retail standards
• Drive a culture of exceptional customer service and lead the team to ensure that the Customer's needs are exceeded in every session
• Ensure that the team critically evaluate the feedback received from all Customers and respond to this
• Have a highly visible presence in all areas of the Club at peak trading times
• Ensure compliance with all Licensing and Health & Safety requirements plus faithfully implementing all company operating standards
• Ensure the Club is operating in strict accordance with the Company's Operating Manuals, standards and procedures
• Ensure you create a Safer Gambling Environment for all our Customers and Colleagues across all of our channels; online, in club and live
