Job summary

The Inn Collection Group is seeking a General Manager for the Commissioners Quay Inn in Blyth. You will lead the pub-with-rooms operation, drive guest satisfaction, oversee the senior team, and ensure profitable performance.

You’ll partner with the Operations Manager to manage budgets, scheduling, and guest services in a fast-paced coastal setting. The role emphasizes leadership, commercial focus, and a hands-on approach to delivering memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in running pubs/hotels or similar hospitality operations.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, costs, and P&L.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Plan, budget, and control costs in line with targets.
• Oversee scheduling, training, and development of senior team members.
• Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness and safety, including night shifts when needed.
