Responsibilities
- ProvidingleadershiptooptimisetheoperationalstructureandmanagingtheexecutionoftheLabel’svision.
- OverseeingthefullscopeoftheLabel’sinfrastructureacrossA&R,Marketing,Distribution,Sync,Content,andLiveandDigitalstrategy.
- Ensuringsmoothexecutionofcampaignswithinternalalignmentwithsuccessfulmaintenanceofinternalsystems,workflowsandcalendars.
- Coordinatingcross-functionalcommunicationbetweeninternalstaff,externalpartners,andartistteams.
- Overseeingsuccessprojectexecutionwitheliminationofbottlenecks,issueresolutionandimprovingworkflows.
- CollaboratingextensivelywiththeFounderswithlong-termplanning,resourceallocation,andgrowthstrategies.
- Producingactionablequarterlyandyearlyoperationalroadmapsfromhigh-levelstrategy.
- Identifyingopportunitiesforcostefficiency,audiencegrowth,andinnovationacrossthebusiness.
- Overseeingtheexecutionofallartistreleasecampaigns.
- Ensuringcampaignsarecommerciallyeffective,withindeadlines,andalignedwithartists.
- Leadingweeklycampaignreporting,reviewingperformancemetrics,andadjustingstrategyasneeded.
- Supportingartistcareerswitheffectivereleasecycles,collaborations,touringsupport,andbrand-building.
- TakingresponsibilityfortheLabel’sbudgets,toincludeforecastingandreporting.
- Collaboratingwithfinanceandaccountingteamstotrackexpenditure,optimisespend,andmonitorcashflow.
- Leadingnegotiationswithserviceproviders,freelancers,andvendors.
- OverseeingdailyoperationsofA&R,Marketing,Digital,Creative,Sync&Partnershipsdepartments.
- Servingasaseniorpointofcontactforartists,managers,anddistributors.
- Servingtheinternalteamwithleadershipandmentoringtomeetperformancetargets.
- Identifyingandmitigatingrisksrelatedtocampaigns,contracts,scheduling,artistrelationships,orfinancialdecisions.
- Ensuringthatlegal,publishing,licencinganddatacomplianceproceduresareupheld.
Qualifications
- Seniorexperienceinlabelmanagementorlabelservices,musicindustryoperationsormusicstart-upsessential.
- ProvenknowledgeoftheDSPlandscape,artistbranddevelopment,marketingstrategyandthereleasecycle.
- Provenhistoryproducingsuccessfulartistcampaigns.
- Strongexperiencebuildingandmanagingmultipleteams/externalagencies.
- Strategicandhighlyorganisedapproachtowork.
- Confidentworkinginafast-pacedenvironment.
- Strongprojectmanagementskills.
- Abletointegratecreativitywithbusinessobjectives.
- Familiaritywithbudgetcreation,reconciliation,costefficiencyandreporting.AlsofamiliaritywiththecorrespondingtoolssuchasExcel,Xeroorsimilar.
- Stronginterpersonalskillshonedwithinartistrelationsandworkingwithinternalteams.
- WorkingknowledgeofProjectManagementtoolssuchasAirtable/Trello/Notion.
- DSPecosystemstoincludeSpotifyforArtists,AppleMusic,Pitchingtools.
- FamiliaritywithdatatoolssuchasChartmetric,MusicAlly,andSoundcharts.
- FamiliaritywithCRM/EmailmarketingtoolssuchasOpenstage,Mailchimpetc.
- Current and active music industry network.
