Responsibilities
  • ProvidingleadershiptooptimisetheoperationalstructureandmanagingtheexecutionoftheLabel’svision.
  • OverseeingthefullscopeoftheLabel’sinfrastructureacrossA&R,Marketing,Distribution,Sync,Content,andLiveandDigitalstrategy.
  • Ensuringsmoothexecutionofcampaignswithinternalalignmentwithsuccessfulmaintenanceofinternalsystems,workflowsandcalendars.
  • Coordinatingcross-functionalcommunicationbetweeninternalstaff,externalpartners,andartistteams.
  • Overseeingsuccessprojectexecutionwitheliminationofbottlenecks,issueresolutionandimprovingworkflows.
  • CollaboratingextensivelywiththeFounderswithlong-termplanning,resourceallocation,andgrowthstrategies.
  • Producingactionablequarterlyandyearlyoperationalroadmapsfromhigh-levelstrategy.
  • Identifyingopportunitiesforcostefficiency,audiencegrowth,andinnovationacrossthebusiness.
  • Overseeingtheexecutionofallartistreleasecampaigns.
  • Ensuringcampaignsarecommerciallyeffective,withindeadlines,andalignedwithartists.
  • Leadingweeklycampaignreporting,reviewingperformancemetrics,andadjustingstrategyasneeded.
  • Supportingartistcareerswitheffectivereleasecycles,collaborations,touringsupport,andbrand-building.
  • TakingresponsibilityfortheLabel’sbudgets,toincludeforecastingandreporting.
  • Collaboratingwithfinanceandaccountingteamstotrackexpenditure,optimisespend,andmonitorcashflow.
  • Leadingnegotiationswithserviceproviders,freelancers,andvendors.
  • OverseeingdailyoperationsofA&R,Marketing,Digital,Creative,Sync&Partnershipsdepartments.
  • Servingasaseniorpointofcontactforartists,managers,anddistributors.
  • Servingtheinternalteamwithleadershipandmentoringtomeetperformancetargets.
  • Identifyingandmitigatingrisksrelatedtocampaigns,contracts,scheduling,artistrelationships,orfinancialdecisions.
  • Ensuringthatlegal,publishing,licencinganddatacomplianceproceduresareupheld.
Qualifications
  • Seniorexperienceinlabelmanagementorlabelservices,musicindustryoperationsormusicstart-upsessential.
  • ProvenknowledgeoftheDSPlandscape,artistbranddevelopment,marketingstrategyandthereleasecycle.

  • Familiaritywithbudgetcreation,reconciliation,costefficiencyandreporting.AlsofamiliaritywiththecorrespondingtoolssuchasExcel,Xeroorsimilar.
  • Stronginterpersonalskillshonedwithinartistrelationsandworkingwithinternalteams.
  • WorkingknowledgeofProjectManagementtoolssuchasAirtable/Trello/Notion.
  • DSPecosystemstoincludeSpotifyforArtists,AppleMusic,Pitchingtools.
  • FamiliaritywithdatatoolssuchasChartmetric,MusicAlly,andSoundcharts.
  • FamiliaritywithCRM/EmailmarketingtoolssuchasOpenstage,Mailchimpetc.
  • Current and active music industry network.
