Job summary

Love Recruitment Ltd in Bristol is seeking a commercially minded Club Manager for a premium health club group. This hands-on role leads the club, drives membership sales and oversees a small team.

You will own the club's performance, build member relationships and hit KPIs, with a £33k base and around £40k OTE in a full-time pattern including some evenings and weekends.

Club Manager in Bristol - Premium Health Club Group

£33k basic + OTE of circa £40k

Location: Bristol.

Our client is a growing group of premium health clubs with six sites. They’re looking for a commercially minded Club Manager in Bristol. This is a hands-on gym and fitness club management role for someone who loves to lead, sell and run a club as if it were their own.

This role is all about sales and commercial performance. The club is simple to run day to day, so you can spend your energy on leading the team, building relationships with members and driving results. It suits someone who loves being accountable for the numbers and takes real pride in seeing their club grow.

On offer is a £33k basic salary with an OTE of around £40k, a close, supportive team culture, and real scope to progress across a six-club group.

Working pattern: Full-time, including some evenings and weekends in line with the needs of the club.

Key responsibilities

• Club ownership: Take full ownership of the club’s performance, standards and member experience, running it as if it were your own business.
• Sales and revenue: Drive membership sales and revenue, and hit agreed KPIs and monthly targets.
• Sales leadership: Lead, coach and motivate a full-time Sales Consultant to turn leads into members.
• Team management: Lead a small team of Personal Trainers and staff so they feel supported, focused and accountable.
• Commercial growth: Spot opportunities to grow income, make the most of the club’s offering and stay ahead of local competitors.
• Member and community engagement: Build strong relationships with members and the local community to drive retention and referrals.

About you

• Management experience: You’ve managed a club or team before and can step in and take ownership without much handholding.
• Sales track record: You have strong sales experience, ideally including sales management, and a proven record of hitting targets.
• Commercial understanding: You’re confident working towards revenue and membership targets and comfortable being measured on KPIs.
• Industry background: You’ve worked in a premium or full-service fitness setting, or you have franchisee experience.
• Energy and positivity: You’re upbeat and full of energy, and you take real pride in your club, your team and the member experience.
