We understand the role great food and people play in successful events. We are excited to be recruiting a General Manager for The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew.

At Kew, we offer various hospitality options including cafes, a la carte restaurants, food halls, pop-ups, and events. As the operation runs 7 days a week, we need someone flexible to manage all associated pressures, deliver exceptional outcomes, meet financial targets, and oversee the service and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Executive Chef and site management to ensure food and service meet high standards
• Review and improve service and food across all outlets and events at Kew
• Develop strong relationships with clients and team members
• Attend client presentations and briefings regularly
• Create and review annual budgets
• Manage and develop a large team
• Lead project management initiatives

Our ideal candidate:

• Has solid industry experience leading remote and multi-site teams of 150+ in catering
• Possesses excellent commercial acumen with experience managing turnovers of £10 million+
• Has a passion for hospitality, keeps up with food trends, and is eager to innovate
• Is a persuasive, articulate communicator capable of building strong relationships
