Job summary

Vercity are recruiting a General Manager for Prospect Park Hospital, Reading. This senior role oversees the SPV and hospital contract, reporting to the Portfolio Director, and acts as the chief liaison between the Trust, the investor, the contractor and the hospital staff and patients.

Initially a contract role with the potential for permanent appointment, the position emphasizes governance, financial performance and risk management with on-site presence and board-level engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an SPV, PFI / PPP or complex outsourced contract environment.
• Strong understanding of hospital or regulated service settings.
• Commercially and financially astute.
• Confident operating at Board and executive level.
• UK-based with on-site presence required.

Vercity are currently recruiting for an General Manager at one of our flagship projects at Prospect Park Hospital, Reading.

This is, initially, a contract role with a permanent position available for the right candidate. As such, applicants available at short notice would be of particular interest.

Reporting to the Portfolio Director you will lead an experienced, and capable team and be the direct liaison between the Trust, the investor, the contractor and the hospital – it’s staff, and patients. This senior role has full accountability for contract delivery, stakeholder management and financial performance, acting as the key interface between NHS partners, shareholders and service providers.
